Getting Here
Travel to the Carbis Bay Estate, St Ives, Cornwall has never been easier. Perhaps take the train to enjoy views of the glorious Cornish coastline. Or drive: the first glimpse of the beach night or day will set your heart racing. Or, perhaps, take to the air via plane or helicopter when time is precious.
By Road
Take the M5 motorway towards Exeter and exit on the A30 Westbound. At Lelant roundabout just west of Hayle take the A3074 to St Ives. Pass through the village of Lelant and on arrival in Carbis Bay take the right-hand filter signposted 'Carbis Bay Beach'. Continue down the hill and pass over the railway bridge. Follow the road around the front of the hotel up into the car-parking area. The main reception is situated off the car-parking area.
By Rail
The nearest station is Carbis Bay on the St Ives branch line. There are frequent regular connecting services to St Erth station (on the London to Penzance main line). From the train station it's only a short walk down the hill to the Estate.

By air
The nearest airport is Cornwall Airport, Newquay, flights from London Gatwick and Stansted operate with only 50 minutes' flying time, and also from many other UK regional and European airports. For more information, visit the Cornwall Airport Newquay website.

Helicopter travel to Cornwall
The Carbis Bay Estate provides helicopter landing facilities for both private and charter craft. This is subject to tide times on the beach or alternatively facilities are available just a few minutes drive from the Estate at West Cornwall Golf Club. Helicopter arrivals must be booked in advance. Chartered services are available from London Heliport and most UK airports and cities through our partner Castle Air.
