Embrace the benefits of cold water swimming with open water swimming coach, Sarah Walsh. The swim is followed by a discussion about the benefits of cold water swimming and the use of the C Bay Spa facilities is included as well as refreshments.

“In January 2020 Sophie Reeves and I started the Perranporth Bluetits Cold Water swimmers. It was incredible and our swimming groups grew very quickly. I swim every day of the year, conditions permitting! I feel so privileged to be doing something that I absolutely love. Not only has sea swimming changed my life for the better, it has changed thousands of Bluetits chill swimmers - we have over 20,000 in Cornwall alone. I feel so very proud to have been a part of that, and the rapid growth of cold water swimming in Cornwall. It’s this love, passion and enthusiasm for the positive benefits of CWS the has led me to train as an “Open Water Swimming Coach’ - STA Level 2 and Outdoor First Aider. There have been many links to the benefits of cold water swimming helping with the menopause, mental health issues, and now with dementia - it is exhilarating and life affirming, and is very much a fabulous natural healing tonic!"

MORNING SESSION

11am - Cold Water Swimming with Sarah Walsh
Embrace the benefits of wild cold-water swimming and absorb the beauty and calming balance of our unique coastal environment.
11.30am - Coffee, Cake and Discussion with Sarah Walsh
Retreat back to the C Bay Spa and enjoy some comforting refreshments whilst hearing about the benefits of cold water swimming from Sarah.
Then relax and enjoy the incredible setting and facilities of our award-winning C Bay Spa.

EVENING SESSION

5pm - Cold Water Swimming with Sarah Walsh
Embrace the benefits of wild cold-water swimming and absorb the beauty and calming balance of our unique coastal environment.
5.30pm - Coffee, Cake and Discussion with Sarah Walsh
